Radiomobile Model 100 Car Radio for Jaguar XK 120
Used Radiomobile car radio for the Jaguar XK in fully functional condition.
The first Radiomobile car radio was called Model 100 (manufactured from 1946-1951) and was initially used by Jaguar from 1946 to 1948 in the 1½-, 2½- and 3½-litre saloons.
The Model 100 was installed (as an option) only in the OTS version of the XK 120. This medium and long wave receiver was designed as a single unit.
It was given the Jaguar part number C.4600. An amplifier unit (part number C.4601; radio code unknown) was mounted on the back of the receiver and connected via an external cable.
The output power of this radio was 3.5 watts and the 5-inch speaker had an impedance of 5 ohms.
Normally, the Model 100 was supplied in black, but other colours for the front were possible.
